This is a full-time hybrid role where you will be working from our office in The Hague, Netherlands. Part-time can be discussed.

Role overview:

In this role, you play a vital part in our organization. As a Senior Property Underwriter, you will be a part of the Domestic  (Middle Market) segment within our Property team, taking an active role in shaping the future direction of our Property team in the Netherlands. Teamwork is key alongside the coordination of your own customers and portfolio from A to Z. At Zurich, we value people with great communication skills who can build and maintain their network, essential to doing business in our market.

Key responsibilities

• Suppport training and development initiatives for other colleagues in the team
• Drive our Domestic Property business forward
• Develop and roll out new insurance products with financial and analytical knowledge
• Focus on results with a passion for the business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 6-10 years (or more) of experience underwriting Property insurance with a Domestic focus
• Fluent in both Dutch and English
• You have an extensive network
• Able to combine technical expertise with business acumen and strong analytical skills
• Affinity with IT systems and software
