At Zurich Insurance Benelux, we are currently seeking a student to join our Underwriting Accident & Health (A&H) team for a few days a week at our The Hague office. Are you a student looking to develop your skills and gain valuable work experience? This position offers a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at an international insurance company!

In the Benelux, Zurich Insurance is one of the most specialized insurance companies within commercial insurance. The A&H team focuses on providing accident, business travel and employee insurance for businesses, among other things.

This is a parttime position (approx. 2 days a week) where you will be based out of our office in The Hague.

Key Accountabilities

As a working student you will be providing support to the A&H Underwriters in various administrative tasks and in the underwriting process. You are hands-on, you can shift priorities, and you are a talented multi-tasker.

Your tasks can include checking and completing the following:

• Pricing tools
• File completeness
• Policy and certificate issuance
• Marketing and template updates
• Other ad hoc requests

About you:

• You are currently a student (bachelor or master)
• It’s a plus if you know your way around legal language and aren’t afraid to work with numbers
• Curiosity, entrepreneurial skills and able to work in a small team
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (non-negotiable)
• Affinity with IT systems and good knowledge of MS Office applications
