Customer Account Manager

The opportunity:
We’re looking for a Customer Account Manager (CAM) to join our Group Savings team, reporting to the Lead CAM IOM, Zurich Integrated Benefits International.
In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with existing customers and their advisers, manage your own portfolio, and support Senior Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) with our largest accounts. You’ll play a key part in retaining customers, growing their value, and supporting new business—helping us make a bigger impact together.
You’ll also gather customer and market insights, helping us spot new opportunities and shape future Zurich propositions.
While you’ll be based in the office, some travel to customer and adviser locations may be needed.
What you’ll do:
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with major EBCs, advisers, and customers—encouraging them to stay and grow with Zurich.
- Support Senior CRMs with stewardship reporting and member engagement and deliver directly for your own customers.
- Create account strategies to target customer growth and cross-selling, using Account Plans.
- Record key information accurately in Zurich’s CRM/CAM tool to capture opportunities.
- Represent Zurich at customer meetings, beauty parades, and corporate events.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our proposition—bringing customer and adviser insights to the table.
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external rules and regulations.
What you’ll bring:
- Professional certification in pensions, risk, insurance, or employee benefits (desirable).
- Experience in strategic account management, ideally in an international environment.
- In-depth knowledge of employee benefits, especially savings benefit markets.
- Strong understanding of compliance for intermediaries, trustees, companies, and members.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and adapt to changing priorities.
- Thorough knowledge of ZINT Corporate propositions.
- Skill in interpreting customer needs and turning them into retention and growth actions.
- Sales, prospecting, and presentation skills (face-to-face, phone, and web).
- Proven track record in meeting growth, income, and expense targets.
- Excellent communication, influencing, collaboration, negotiation, organisation, and motivation skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; French, Dutch, or other European languages are a plus.
