The opportunity:  

An opportunity is available in Investment Services – Fund Support Team. The main dimensions of the role are to ensure that all aspects of unit-linked fund data remain accurate, fund literature items are produced and reviewed in accordance with regulatory and internal schedules and Zurich proposition teams are supported through the creation of fund range additions. Supporting various business change and development activities is also expected with growing experience.

 

Key responsibilities of the team:

Details below highlight the main functions undertaken across the whole of the Fund Support Team, whilst knowledge of all activities will be expected over time being accountable for all such activities at any one time is unlikely.

  • Monthly/semi-annual unit-linked fund data reconciliation utilising multiple internal and external systems.
  • Sign-off for specific fund information contained in various client facing literature items.
  • Monthly unit-linked fund factsheet production.
  • Quarterly production of Corporate Scheme performance reports
  • Review of proposed new unit-linked funds against asset acceptance criteria, prioritisation of new fund launch, and creation of fund set up data.
  • Involvement in varied investment related projects and business change initiatives.
  • Responding to varied investment related queries from various internal and external customers against SLAs.
  • Third Party provider relationship management.
  • Process development and documentation in accordance with Zurich control environment.

 

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Data reconciliation.
  • Review of market information.
  • Collation of fund records.
  • Assist in generating and distributing regular reports related to investment activity, portfolio performance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide general administrative support to the investment team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating with other departments as needed.

 

Your skills and experience:

  • Analytical.
  • Investment knowledge preferable but not essential.
  • Team orientated.
  • Accurate, numerate, articulate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and be adaptive.
  • Intermediate level of MS EXCEL – ability to collate and analyse large datasets.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Clear concise verbal and written communications skills.
