Senior Agile Business Analyst

129813

Location: Douglas, Isle of Man

Closing date for applications: 12th January 2026

The opportunity:

Join us as a Senior Agile Business Analyst and play a key role in shaping solutions that deliver real business value. In this role, you’ll lead the analysis of business requirements and help us achieve earlier benefits through iterative delivery.

We’re looking for someone naturally inquisitive and tenacious, with a passion for turning ideas into actionable plans. You’ll develop robust user stories, elicit requirements, assess impacts and risks, and define solutions and processes that make a difference.

Our default approach is Agile, but flexibility matters – your ability to adapt to different methodologies will be highly valued. You’ll work independently while collaborating with colleagues to create a high-performing, supportive team environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise, grow your career, and build strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders across the business.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment and want to work for a company that recognises and rewards creativity, initiative, and impact, apply online and help us drive meaningful change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team and support the Customer Journey Owner to enable timely decisions.
  • Write user stories and document requirements, covering both functional and non-functional objectives.
  • Ensure initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Make product-based decisions as empowered by the Customer Journey Owner, understanding customer objectives, processes, and products.
  • Break down large initiatives into smaller deliverables for earlier benefits while maintaining an end-to-end view.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels using a variety of channels.
  • Support the Project Manager with test planning, testing, implementation, and training activities as needed.
  • Work with the Customer Journey Owner to create and maintain a roadmap for your area, assessing value and communicating likely delivery timelines.
  • Continuously assess initiatives for suitability, with a willingness to pivot or stop where appropriate.

Your skills and experience:

  • Proven experience delivering projects using different methodologies, with adaptability to meet business needs.
  • Strong business analysis background and excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and leaders.
  • Good understanding of product management and roadmap creation, balancing regulatory, growth, and BAU activities.
  • Ability to translate initiatives into clear, actionable plans for development teams.
  • Insurance industry knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a professional Business Analysis certification are preferred.
