Test Analyst

Location: Douglas, Isle of Man

The opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to work on our mainframe, mobile app, and online customer portal. You will be part of small, collaborative agile teams, enhancing functionality through innovative in-house developments and seamless integration with leading third-party applications.

This is a key role where you will design, develop, review, and execute tests to ensure the functional readiness of our popular client systems. If you have a passion for detecting and solving problems, and an eagle-eye for detail while still seeing the bigger picture, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, review, and execute test plans and scripts.
• Collaborate with agile teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
• Ensure the functional readiness of mainframe, mobile app, and online customer portal systems.
• Use test automation software and techniques to improve testing efficiency.

Our ideal candidate would have:

• Proven experience in testing including web and ideally mobile app solutions.
• ISTQB Foundation certification, or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Exposure to financial services.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using test automation software and techniques.
