Communications and Content Manager
Job Summary

Reporting to Head of Marketing & Communication, as Communications and Content Manager, you will be responsible for elevating our brand as a market leading domestic insurer and employee benefits provider and strengthen our presence in the region.
The ideal candidate is someone who blends newsroom style storytelling with content creation, understands how to shape narratives across channels, and knows how to drive meaningful visibility. You will be the engine behind our content strategy—crafting, producing and optimizing high impact stories that reinforce our brand and support business priorities.
Job Accountabilities
As Communications and Content Manager, your role will involve:
Contributing to the development and execution of integrated communication plans that support our business strategy. You’ll also be our in house content powerhouse—crafting compelling narratives, building a strong content ecosystem, and ensuring our stories land with the right audiences at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Leadership Team to build and deliver communication strategies that elevate Zurich’s voice in the Middle East.
- Develop thought leadership content for senior leaders, ensuring their expertise is showcased across relevant platforms.
- Grow brand awareness and positive sentiment through strategic media engagement.
- Create high impact content for campaigns, corporate initiatives and speaking opportunities, using performance insights to refine and optimize.
- Lead the development and execution of a robust content strategy across all channels—including digital, social and internal platforms.
- Produce original, engaging content using modern tools and techniques, including AI enhanced research and content generation workflows.
- Strengthen Zurich’s brand presence through award submissions, industry events and conference participation.
- Ensure all communication activities align with business objectives, brand guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Track, measure and report on communication and content performance across channels.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver integrated communication plans that support strategic business priorities.
- Recommend and produce high quality communication materials tailored to audience needs and channel formats.
- Manage communication related compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain consistent messaging and alignment with Group Communications.
- Stay current on communication trends, media dynamics and content best practices.
- Draft and update press materials, issue statements and media materials.
- Identify and support speaking opportunities for Zurich leaders.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in your role you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English or a related field.
- Mandatory: 3–4 years of experience in a PR agency or as a journalist.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling, high quality content across formats.
- Experience working with senior leadership and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Creativity and the ability to develop original, engaging content.
- Strong understanding of digital content performance and analytics.
- Familiarity with AI powered content tools and search driven content strategies.
- Excellent organization, time management and project coordination skills.
- A collaborative, proactive, high ownership mindset.
- Native English speaker. Arabic is an advantage.
