Job Summary

 

Zurich Workplace Solutions (ZWS) is an entity from Zurich International located in the heart of the DIFC’s International Financial Centre. They provide localized workplace savings solutions that offer flexibility, control and make a positive difference to long-term financial security. 

 

ZWS are the Administrator of the DIFC Employee Workplace Savings plan (DEWS), a progressive end-of-service benefit plan introduced within the DIFC in 2020.

 

Reporting to Head of IT Services and Business Transformation you will support data-driven decision-making within our Business Transformation team in Zurich Workplace Solutions. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver meaningful business insights.

 

Job Accountabilities

 

As Data Analyst, your role will involve:

 

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data.
  • Utilize Excel (including advanced functions) and Power Query for data preparation and analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and CRM teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights.
  • Coordinate with Production Support and Development teams to support data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and enable smooth delivery of solutions.
  • Communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all reporting outputs.

 

Job Qualifications

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • 1–2 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI (dashboard development expertise required.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Basic coding knowledge/background (e.g., Python or similar) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

 

Preferred Attributes

 

  • Experience in finance or workplace solutions domain.
  • Exposure to CRM-related data and analytics.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Production Support and Development.
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
