Our Zurich Commercial Insurance, Middle East business is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in helping us manage and oversee several projects in our region. Reporting to the Head of Stategy, this individual will develop detail project plans, allocate resources, prepare and manage the project budget, monitor and address risk and lead the project delivery from start to end.
Job Accountabilities
As Senior Project Manager, your role will involve:
- Takes accountability for a successful implementation of distinct local and regional projects.
- Ensures that the overall project objectives are cleary defined and met.
- Select appropriate processes required to meet the project objectives and adapt different delivery approaches.
- Project manage, initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control all projects in accordance with the Zurich project management frameworks and policies.
- Develop detailed project plans at task level based on the agreed business case and comply with requirements to meet the needs and expectations of senior stakeholders.
- Balance the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and risk to produce the specified product, service, or result, managing project risks appropriately.
- Engage with other managers to understand and share best practices and learnings.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in project management.
- PMP Certification (PMI), or Six Sigma Certification
- Strong budgeting and change management skills
- Effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Stakeholder Management
- Problem-solving capabilities
