We’re excited to offer a graduate-level opportunity to join Zurich’s Investment Solutions team, reporting to the Head of Investment Solutions. Based in our Blackrock, Co. Dublin office, this team plays a key role in supporting the investment strategy at Zurich Life Assurance plc

Zurich Life manages over €46 billion of assets, with much of this handled by our award-winning in-house active investment management team. As a graduate team member, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of investment activities and contribute to Zurich’s investment management and proposition. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the business, including teams in Marketing, Distribution, Product Solutions, and our Investment Front Office.

Your Role

 

The responsibilities:

  • Produce and present external reports on fund metrics such as performance attribution and asset allocation.
  • Support the production of external investment marketing and communications collateral, particularly macroeconomic and investment market commentary, and pension scheme reporting.
  • Assist in the production and quality control of client presentations and reviews.
  • Build and maintain market knowledge in relation to fund offerings and investment trends that are relevant to the business from a commercial perspective.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance (including analysis, report writing, presenting) across a number of relevant subject areas (e.g., sustainability). 
  • Conduct research into trends on specific asset classes (equities, bonds, alternatives) and wider macroeconomic issues.

Your Skills and Experience

 

The Requirements:

  • Graduate position, with relevant academic and internship experience beneficial.
  • A strong academic background in a related field, accompanied with excellent proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The motivation to pursue further professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA).
  • A motivated self-starter, willing to take responsibility for specific tasks.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously as required.
  • A willingness to stay up to date with fast moving investment market developments.
  • An excellent attention to detail.
  • Quantitatively minded and comfortable with investment metrics and datasets.
  • The ability to summarise and present key investment topics to an external audience.
  • A deep interest in investment matters; demonstrated through work placements, project subject matter, course module preferences. 

Additional Information

 

Primary work location is Blackrock. Position is Dublin-based. This is a hybrid role which will require 2-3 days in office (Blackrock) per week.
