HR Specialist - Compensation & Performance Management


Job Summary


As a HR Specialist you will support the Senior Compensation & Performance Management Consultant. You will also align with the HR Services team, to collect, and generate HR Data to provide critical HR information across the organisation for Performance Management, People Statistics, Surveys, and Audits.


Your role will play a pivotal part in HR Analytics and as such give you exposure to a wide range of confidential and critical information and the opportunity to provide management information & insights to senior stakeholders in our organisation.

Your Role


Performance Management and Compensation 


  • Support the annual performance management cycle 
  • Checking and preparing highly confidential compensation data 
  • Provide advice & guidance on compensation queries to employees, managers & wider HR Team 
  • Support HRBP and Managers through salary review process 
  • Assist on local trainings & create materials to ensure best practice across the organisation
  • Tracking of the Performance Cycle processes, driving completions via stakeholder management & communications
  • Participate in Compensation Surveys including the evaluation and determination of appropriate benchmark matches
  • Conducts research, evaluation and analysis of internal and external market data, analyses market trends and makes recommendation for compensation adjustments
  • Maintain data in compensation & performance management systems
  •  Administration of the local share scheme 
  • Implement both local and Group governance and support HR Team queries
  • Support the HR Team with HR Reports & Dashboards that support our people practices for example D&I, Executive Reports, Finance etc.
  • Provide regular & adhoc report and analysis to HR Team & business
  • Compile data from a range of data sources & systems 


Research & Group Projects


  • Research the market to keep up to date with developments in Compensation & other HR developments
  • Represent Compensation & Performance for Ireland on Group calls and report back to HR Mgt team
  • Engagement with Group Functions on global projects & requests

Additional Job Functions


  • May monitor unit´s privacy compliance and participate in business or operational audits.
  • May respond to insurance department queries for statistical and other information.
  • May work with third party vendors & manage third party vendors as assigned.




Client Internally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level.

Your Skills and Experience


As a Compensation & HR Reporting Specialist your skills and qualifications will include:


  • Qualifications in Human Resources or 2 or more years of experience in related field
  • Preferred 1-2 years experience in HR Compensation/Performance Management
  • Advanced Excel Skills and data manipulation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational/administrative skills
  • Experience in reporting in SAP and HR Systems an additional benefit

Additional Information


Primary work location is Blackrock. Position is Dublin-based but occasional travel may be required to other Zurich locations.
