The opportunity:
Zurich Insurance UK is expanding its DevOps team to meet the increasing demand for digital transformation, API-led application development, Agile delivery, DevOps practices and innovation. The DevOps team is helping the business transform by improving efficiency and by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do via our digital transformation work.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the DevOps Salesforce team as the Salesforce BA / Admin in our Operation team. You will work in an Agile way alongside the Salesforce Operations Manager, Salesforce Solution Leads, Solution Architect, MuleSoft team, SmartComm team, and the wider Salesforce team to ensure the effective management and operation of the Salesforce estate comprising of five Salesforce Orgs, all while learning and growing your skill set.

What will you be doing?
If you want to build applications, systems and processes that will transform Zurich, you could be part of a rapidly growing Salesforce team. You will be a “hands on” Salesforce Business Analyst with experience in translating business needs into requirements, shaping and informing solution design and architecture, and building out Salesforce solutions using declarative development.
Zurich has positioned Salesforce as a strategic technology with six Salesforce Orgs covering Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Salesforce Industries and Not for Profit Cloud. You will gain a broad range of Salesforce experience across multiple lines of business, portfolios, and projects. Other responsibilities will include as follows:
Salesforce Business Analysis
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for Salesforce enhancements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the design, testing, and rollout of new Salesforce features.
- Support user adoption by preparing training materials and conducting user training sessions.
- Provide day-to-day support to users, troubleshooting issues and escalating as needed.
Compliance & Audit
- Monitor Salesforce processes to ensure ongoing adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in preparing documentation and reports required for internal and external audits.
- Perform regular data quality checks and support remediation activities.
- Help implement controls and best practices to minimize compliance risks.
- Stay up to date with changes in relevant compliance standards and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data integrity in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Audit teams to develop practical solutions.
- Gather feedback from users and recommend enhancements.
Salesforce General
- You will be responsible for incident management and service request delivery.
- You will be working closely with Application Product Owners to deliver the enhancement requests from the backlog.
- You will be responsible for maintenance activities and proactive monitoring.
- Technical debt reduction will be key to keeping the platform stable.
- Act as an ambassador and evangelist for the DevOps and Salesforce team and engage with the Salesforce Account Management team.
- You will support Operations Manager in any other activities that maybe required.
What are we looking for?
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You will have Salesforce certifications, or if not currently hold aspiration to acquire one.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a business analyst, CRM, or compliance/audit role (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Experienced in translating business/regulatory demand into requirements.
- Experienced in stakeholder management.
- Great interpersonal skills, and good written and oral communication skills – being able to talk directly to customers to understand change and configuration requirements.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with the business to elicit requirements.
- Contribute to working in a diverse team with different backgrounds and skills.
- Take responsibility for a piece of work from start to finish.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR) is a plus.
- Experienced in reviewing and documenting processes.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, positive approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of using JIRA and Confluence
