Assistant Claims Manager (Liability and Employees' Compensation)

Job Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the large and complex Liability and Employees' Compensation claims
  • Provide technical support to the team including work simplification and automation initivitates
  • Responsibe for orgranizing customer meeting presentation and preparation of Powerpoint materials
  • Provide data analytics for Commerical portofolios  
  • Assist the Claims Manager in managerial tasks and other ad hoc tasks
  • Adhere to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim to ensure that we make decisions using the right standards.
  • Compliance with customer protocols / service charter

 

Job Qualifications:

  • 5 years or above experience in Liability and Employees' Compensation claims preferably with large and complex claims management skill
  • Achieved recognised industry standard (e.g. Snr Asso. of ANZIIF)
  • Preferably Bachelor degree or above or equivalent working experience
  • Extensive experience with all major aspects of the claims adjustment process
  • Experience in Liability and Employees' Compensation claims handling with good customer service skill is a must
  • Technical knowledge of products and services
  • Technical claims handling knowledge of Liability and Employees' Compensation insurance products
  • Understand local legislation and legal liability
  • Understand industry standards and protocol
  • Knowledge of claims agreements
  • Interpretation of policy over Knowledge and application of the litigation process
  • Data analytical skill is preferred
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Claims Officer position
