Assistant Data Program Manager

We are seeking a Assistant Data Program Manager.

As an Assistant Data Program Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

• Act as the local owner and coordinator of data/AI initiatives.

• Implement and localize data solutions, tools, and systems developed by the regional or group data teams.

• Identify opportunities to leverage global/regional data products to solve local business challenges and drive adoption.

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable data initiatives.

• Manage project plans, timelines, and communication between local business units and regional data teams.

• Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth integration of group data/AI tools.

• Track program KPIs, prepare executive updates, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of data initiatives.

• Serve as a data ambassador, building enthusiasm for data-driven decision-making within teams. Promote group data solutions, champion data use cases, and increase data literacy and awareness across business units.

• Foster collaboration between data engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

• Maintain and enhance existing Python-based tools and automations developed in previous projects.

 

Your Skills and Experience

As an Assistant Data Program Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Master degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, and 6+ years of experience in data project or program management, preferably in a multinational or regional context.

• Strong understanding of data ecosystems, including data pipelines, warehousing, and analytics platforms.

• Proficiency in Python for maintaining and enhancing existing tools.

• Experience with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across regional and group structures.

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
