Brand & Creative Specialist / Assistant Manager
Purpose:
Play a pivotal role in shaping Zurich HK's brand narrative and market presence through strategic brand development and compelling creative execution. This role focuses on translating deep consumer insights and market research into unique brand and product propositions, leading the creation of impactful advertising campaigns, and guiding creative teams to drive brand awareness, consideration and engagement for our insurance offerings in the HK market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy Execution & Proposition Development
- Develop and implement brand strategies and unique brand/product propositions tailored to the local insurance market, ensuring alignment with overall global brand vision, values, and guidelines.
- Conduct consumer insight analysis and market research to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and innovative campaign concepts.
- Creative Concepting & Copywriting
- Lead the creation of compelling creative concepts and storytelling frameworks for major product launches and brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand identity
- Develop clear, customer-centric messaging by crafting persuasive advertising copy across digital, social, print, and OOH platforms, translating complex insurance products into simple, engaging narratives.
- Campaign Development & Management
- Plan, develop, and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns that promote Zurich HK's insurance products, from conceptualization to execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create brand-compliant advertising materials and ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance goals.
- Market Research & Consumer Insights
- Conduct and interpret market research, consumer behavior studies, and competitor analysis to uncover deep insights.
- Leverage data-driven insights to uncover unmet customer needs and shape brand positioning, campaign themes, and creative briefs, while presenting actionable recommendations to guide strategic marketing decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & External Partnerships
- Work closely with Product, Distribution and Sales teams to align brand initiatives with business goals and product launches.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of brand initiatives and campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports and strategic recommendations for continuous optimization.
Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in brand management or a similar strategic creative role. Candidate with reputable creative or advertising agency background is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the local insurance market and customer dynamics in Hong Kong.
- Exceptional ad copywriting/creative concept development, storytelling, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
- Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously.
- Independent, proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English and Chinese (Traditional); Mandarin is an asset.
