Job Summary
- To achieve the business target of Personal Line Travel Insurance in terms of GWP & BOP by managing the new and existing partners’ portfolio, directing personal travel insurance business strategies for all channels, enhancing the branding / product competitiveness / distribution of travel insurance products in all channels
Job Accountabilities
- Manage the team in acquiring new potential partners
- Monitor the level of GWP / BOP contribution from new partners as per their particular requirements
- Explore & capture market opportunities on personal travel insurance for all channel
- Understand the changing Travel Business & able to explore / leverage the opportunities in Greater China Region
- Manage the team in achieving business targets of the existing / assigned trade partners
- Plan and monitor marketing campaigns and any other sales initiatives in effective and efficient manner
- Assist the other distribution channels with the expanding needs of personal travel insurance business from other channels
- Establish and continuously review existing procedures to improve sales / operation efficiency, risk control and achieve company targets
- Execute initiatives, review and refine sales & service standards
- Monitor the legal / compliance / credit fulfillments of all partners
- Co-ordinate with Underwriting team in developing underwriting strategy
- Oversee the business portfolio management / customer satisfaction in respect of Travel agent and all others assigned business channels
- Rigorously review the performance of each line of business and propose business plans as appropriate
- Perform financial projections with profitability evaluation and resources planning
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and undertake any short-term/long-term measures to improve sales performance
- Rigorously review campaign performance and complete campaign evaluation or project appraisal
- Manage the daily operations of the teams & handle emergency situation
- Lead projects & exercises as assigned by Senior Management
Job Qualifications
- Degree Holder or above, preferably in marketing or business related subjects
- ANZIIF or ACII or other relevant insurance qualifications is preferable
- Over 7 years of GI working experience in distribution management with at least 4 years in managerial position
- Technical General Insurance knowledge, especially in Travel and A&H business
- Sound knowledge and exposure in Travel industry
- Familiar with insurance market trends, industry practice and regulations
- Technical skills in E-business, Presentation and Negotiation
- Able to work independently and work under tight deadlines
- With leadership quality to control, motivate and communicate
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
