Manager, Partnership Distribution / Business Development (General Insurance)

Job Summary

  • As a key member & leader of Zurich’s Partnership team, this role serves as a Business Development Manager to develop win-win solutions and relationship with Zurich’s partners, lead the planning and execution of sales campaigns & initiatives to accelerate business growth and achieve business goal in Partnership channel
  • The role needs to be passionate about delivering compelling marketing initiatives and to be data-driven to track the performance and provide insights

  

Job Accountabilities

  • Identify sales and growth opportunities for each partner:
    • Align with Zurich and partner’s business direction, partner’s customer base/segments and internal capabilities, identify sales opportunities with defined business case and priority for each partner
    • Plan the product propositions and sales initiatives that are relevant and effective to facilitate the exposure, awareness and penetration of Zurich’s products among partners’ customer base to achieve business goal
  • Sales initiatives and campaigns implementation:
    • Pitch the partners for win-win initiatives and solutions
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure sales initiatives are delivered in good quality for customer experience and on schedule
  • Optimization:
    • Develop the detailed performance metrics and KPI of each initiative
    • Establish the mechanism to monitor and analyse regularly to provide reports with insights and recommendations of actions and improvements
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects as assigned

 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’ Degree in Marketing / Business / Finance or related disciplines
  • Digital partnership business development experience with knowledge in General Insurance
  • Work exposure in e-commerce, digital startups, Insurtech or Fintech would be an advantage
  • Proven track record of delivering innovation and impactful partnerships, particularly digital partnerships from end to end
  • At least 10 years’ solid all-rounded experience in marketing / business development, preferably in financial and insurance industries
  • Sales-driven with creative and strong marketing sense as well as business acumen
  • Independent, proactive, multi-tasking, fast-pace with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Outgoing, strong sense of responsibility, well-organized and a good team player
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese a must; Mandarin is advantageous)
  • Proficient in MS Office application including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
