Senior Officer / Officer, Digital Development (Distribution)

Job Summary

  • This is a role to answer Zurich’s growing demand in digital sales and service activities, particularly in direct distribution of insurance products through web channels.
  • The ideal candidate will build, maintain and continuously optimize webpages with help of a market-leading Content Management System (CMS), with a focus on creating optimal customer journeys that drive acquisitions and provide timely service.  Other key functions of the role include managing stakeholders across functions and deriving insights from web analytics tool.

Job Accountabilities

  • As the subject matter expert (SME) in web experience, evaluate, advise and improve upon web content requests raised by various functions, championing stakeholder management with a strong collaborative spirit.
  • Build customer-centric webpages with CMS in accordance to industry best practice and brand guideline.  Improve the user experience continuously with reference to findings in web analytics, heatmap tool and customer feedback from NPS surveys.
  • Perform personalization and A/B testing on webpages to maximize results with help of automation.
  • Capture organic search demand to the website by assisting with SEO activities, including but not limited to keyword research, competitive analysis as well as development and execution of content strategy.
  • Liaise and foster strong relationship with SMEs on both Regional and Group levels to receive support on the most cutting-edge technologies and implement web strategies in alignment with global direction.
  • Collaborate with in-house IT and manage external vendors to deliver campaign websites on a project basis.
  • Oversee integration of CRM/marketing automation solution with Zurich’s corporate website, specifically the capturing of leads through web forms and automation of marketing emails.
  • Craft emails and SMS to support marketing and servicing activities, report on and optimize performance for continuous success.

 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management Information System Management, eCommerce, Computer Science, or related majors.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in webmastering, content authoring, digital marketing, project management or other relevant disciplines; candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer, Digital Development
  • Knowledge: 
    • Excellent project management skills, comfortable in communicating effectively across different functions, cultural backgrounds and seniority levels to drive great results.
    • Proven track records in managing website for an organization, with strong experience in operating enterprise CMS.
    • Strong experience in web analytics, tag management and data visualization. Ability to derive insights based on a contextual understanding of web data.
    • Sound understanding of customer journey and UI/UX design best practice, paired with a burning desire to continuously deliver better experience for our customers.
    • Experience in optimizing user experiences with personalization, A/B testing and heatmap tool.
    • Well-versed in SEO, possession of a strong growth mentality to drive organic traffic.
    • Strong analytical skills, able to break down and resolve complex business problems.
    • A self-starter, progressively pushing tasks and projects forward.
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
    • Insurance or financial institution background is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Highly proficient in enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore or Adobe Experience Manager.
    • Knowledge in HTML and CSS is highly preferred, JavaScript is optional but an advantage.
    • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and Data Studio.
    • Experience in SEO tools e.g. Ahrefs, Semrush or Moz is an absolute advantage.
    • Experience in A/B testing tool Adobe Target and web behavioural analytics tool Hotjar is highly preferred.
    • Familiarity with major CRM solutions, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce is preferred.
    • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, e.g. APSIS or Hubspots is also preferred.
