Digital Product Manager


Key Role & Responsibility

  • Oversee the lifecycle of a number of digital products - such as area of front-end web channel or mobile application - from their inception to launching best in class digital products which make a difference for our customers 
  • Responsible for the overall vision and roadmap for the product, ensuring successful iterative launches
  • Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, backlog grooming and user acceptance testing
  • Partner with the executive teams to identify key capabilities needed as well as identifying potential issues
  • Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
  • Partner with IT to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure that IT delivers all capabilities on time and per expectation
  • Work with product marketing to develop positioning and messaging to ensure differentiation from competitors
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements
  • Act as a mediator between consumers, the business and technical teams
  • Understand consumer needs (with input from Customer Knowledge team) and translates the needs into new product features to be designed and implemented
  • Participate in market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for feature development
  • Work closely with the IT team - or 3rd party developers - to ensure timely delivery of features to market
  • Ensure close monitoring of customer experience through web journeys using apprppriae tools
  • Work directly with UX designers to bring the product vision and customer needs to life
  • Liaise with regional and group digital teams to ensure best practice, sharing and utilisation of existing solutions


  • Best in class digital products delivered to market in a timely manner
  • Effective solutions - measured through customer use, satisfaction and lack of issues
  • Clear strategy and roadmap for the development of digital products
  • Management of the backlog
  • TNPS within digital touchpoints

Notes/ Candidate Requirements

  • 5 years experience in digital product management
  • Strong customer focus
  • Some understanding of front-end programming languages helpful
  • Some understanding of backend architecture and technical needs
  • Flexible
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills
  • Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
  • Understanding of customer segmentation
  • Good understanding of product development methodologies, such as Agile scrum management
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good time management
  • Excellent communication
  • Works well with others - across organizational boundaries
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
