Perform finance-related activities related to Financial Accounting, Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Group Re, Planning, FinOps and Performance Management., Ensure that all tasks and procedures are completed to achieve key business objectives., Efficient stakeholder management internally and externally.,

Job Requirements

  • Min. 5 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with hands-on exposure to financial accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, planning, and performance management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CFA are a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to deliver strategic financial insights and collaborate across functions to support business growth, compliance, and decision-making
  • Strong command of finance operations, including ledger tasks, accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, forecasting, and ICFR compliance
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle), Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau); experience with automation technologies is highly valued 

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

  • Team Management of individual contributors and oversees assignment and distribution of team workloads, ensuring staff are fully utilized to deliver on agreed programs of work.
  • Performs close related ledger tasks, e. g. accruals, provisions, reconciliations and journals postings.
  • Prepares ledger reports and explain the results.
  • Conducts accounts receivable and payable activites.
  • Performs basic technical research.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accounting, finance-related activities, processes and procedures are followed and completed.
  • Enhances business decision making, supporting development and execution of business strategy and initiatives through robust data, accurate financial analysis, insight and other relevant activities.
  • Contributes to annual budget-plan and regular forecast process through close work with the business.
  • Designs, generates and review moderately complex financial models.
  • Provides regular support as a subject matter expert to projects and internal initiatives by providing know-how and expertise.
  • Monitors, optimizes and implements new automated processes by utilizing suitable technologies.
  • Performs updates on ICFR controls in compliance with internal control guidelines.
