Head of Propositions - Zurich Topas Life

Job Summary

Drives the performance of a major proposition or a portfolio of propositions with various degrees of complexity. Accountable for the proposition success in the marketplace. Recommends the strategy, develops, and implements plans based on prioritized proposition development opportunities. Typically assigned to a Business Division, Region, or Customer Segment. May support the Head of Proposition Management in setting and monitoring principles for propositions governance or in setting and monitoring principles for specific Business Units and corporate propositions governance.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

Executes proposition oversight frameworks and ensures compliance with relevant Business Unit policies and guidelines.Reviews the product development pipeline in line with Business Unit framework.Provides feedback to local businesses on adequate proposition governance. Assists in assessing whether propositions require Business Unit approval.Ensures effective proposition development and management. Reviews and challenges proposition developments in respect of risks, guarantees, suitability and other key areas in the Business Unit and proposition framework. May provide input to shaping the product development pipeline process in line with BUR requirements and key product KPIs.Provides input to defining for adequate proposition governance.Defines, monitors, and communicates relevant policies and guidelines.Ensures effective proposition development and management. Coordinates product development pipeline inputs.Reviews and challenges product submissions in respect of commercial positioning, technical product design including pricing and suitability. Provides ad hoc expertise on technical product design and pricing matters.Monitors product profitability through the Profitability Review.
