Job Qualifications
Required:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Adobe Creative suite (AI / PSD) - Mural or similar
- Proven experience (3-7 years) as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and problem-solving skills with experience working in startegy, planning, center-of-excellence roles
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- English (at least intermediate) with awesome collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design, Computer Science, Boothcamp or related field are welcome to applied.]
- Experience in QA or have familiarity with digital product testing processes will be huge plus]
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
- Conduct User Research: Gather and analyze user insights to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Use these findings to inform design decisions that genuinely address user expectations.
- Design Engaging Interfaces: Create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile platforms. Ensure every interaction is clear, seamless, and enjoyable for users.
- Prototype and Visualize Ideas: Develop detailed wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts. Use prototypes to test and validate ideas early.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align design with product goals. Foster open communication to deliver solutions that meet both user and business needs.
- Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability testing to gather user feedback. Refine and iterate designs based on real-world insights, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all designs strictly follow Zurich’s brand guidelines, delivering a consistent experience that reflects our values and identity across all touchpoints.
- Quality Assurance: Create and manage test cases for post-development testing to verify product quality and functionality. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), production testing, and ongoing quality assurance activities to ensure final products meet design and technical requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices. Bring fresh, forward-thinking ideas to every project.
