Job Purpose:
As an AI Change & Adoption Lead, you will play a pivotal role within the Shared Services Leadership Team in Kraków, driving both continuous improvement and AI-enabled transformation initiatives across multiple services & processes. These include but are not limited to: Financial Services (e.g. Financial Accounting, Performance & Planning Management), HR, Administration, Procurement, and other business operations functions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our operations by embedding artificial intelligence into business processes, promoting a culture of innovation, and collaborating with business partners across Zurich Insurance Ltd. to share best practices and influence long-term continuous improvement strategy.
You will lead initiatives from concept to execution in process optimisation and AI adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end (define, design, implement, report to leadership) continuous improvement and AI transformation projects.
- Identify and prioritise business improvement opportunities, develop AI-driven solutions, and manage cross-functional initiatives to deliver measurable impact.
- Increase AI awareness and adoption opportunities across the organisation by promoting practical use cases and success stories.
- Deliver tailored, cost-effective solutions using appropriate methodologies, including automation, Agentic AI, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot, and other emerging tools to drive efficiency gains across ZCC Kraków and relevant Business Units.
- Facilitate business process workshops to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-driven optimisation and waste elimination.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices in AI and stay up to date with the latest updates / features and assess possibility of implementation in ZCC Krakow incl. communication, knowledge sharing, scaling across organization.
- Act as a champion of AI and operational excellence, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the centre.
Candidate's profile
- Proven experience in leading continuous improvement and/or AI transformation projects, ideally within shared services.
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and hands-on experience with AI tools in business operations (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Agents, , ML/AI models) and other tools: Power Platform or UiPath.
- Stakeholder management experience and cross-functional collaboration.
- Awareness of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.
This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
