Job Summary:

As an IA Engineer in our Automation Team, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining intelligent automation solutions that power smarter business processes across Zurich globally. You will work with a mix of technologies—including Microsoft Power Platform, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Python, and generative AI tools such as Copilot—to deliver impactful projects for customers throughout Zurich’s worldwide organization. Your contributions will help us join multiple technologies into seamless automation solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and a better user experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Design low-code/no-code solutions to streamline workflows and automate tasks.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the quality, scalability, and security of Power Platform applications.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and third-party systems.

Candidate’s profile:

• Skilled at translating business requirements into efficient digital workflows and interactive dashboards, driving operational efficiency and enabling smarter, data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem integration, data modeling, and automation.
• Experienced in collaborating with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and deliver user-friendly applications tailored to business needs.
• Adept at troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and ensuring robust governance and security in all solutions.
• Knowledge of product design principles using AI, and the ability to drive cross-functional projects.
• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Brings 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft tools, including:
• Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven)
• Power Automate (Flow Design & Automation)
• Power BI (Data Visualization & Reporting)
• Microsoft Dataverse & SharePoint Integration)
• Copilot Studio (Chatbot & AI Integration)
• Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks is an advantage.
• Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.

This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
