Job purpose:
To perform specific Planning and Performance Management activities relevant for the regular performance management reporting processes for Zurich Insurance Company Krakow Branch by providing sound financial analysis and enhanced business insight. The role gives opportunity to participate in local, regional and global projects and that is why we are looking for a proactive, flexible person with a “can do” approach. As a dedicated Senior Specialist in the role, you will stand as a support and advisor to your colleagues, superior and to the client.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & provide regular planning and performance reporting activities, including analysis of data, gathering input from relevant stakeholders and preparation of core PPM deliverables;
- Prepare and provide regular expense reporting for the Finance Manager, explain the drivers behind FC to ACT variances;
- Support the quarterly reporting to the Senior Management;
- Prepare the billing data for the services delivered by the Krakow Capability Centre;
- Identify financial issues and the drivers behind, support counter-measures definition and track achievement;
- Maintain the reporting process in various PPM systems;
- Response to queries from the cost-center managers / Senior Management, be responsible for the financial analysis and research on ad-hoc topics to support performance reporting and planning activities
- Active collaboration with external stakeholders from other Zurich entities
Candidate’s profile:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in finance / controlling industry
- Practical experience in FP&A/ management accounting & reporting/cost controlling area
- Finance and Accounting, Economy/ Controlling or equivalent academic degree
- Very good MS Excel and Power Point skills (including at least basic experience in VBA)
- Experience in Power Apps and other tools
- English skills – fluent written and spoken

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.
This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
