Job purpose:
The role’s main purpose will be to run third party risk assessments via an IT solution, Synergi, and issue outcome reports.
Full training and support will be provided by Zurich’s global third-party risk team (ZGTPRM team) – the managed service will be an extension of this team.
Responsibilities:
Third‑Party Risk Assessments
- Carry out third‑party risk assessments within defined SLAs.
- Issue assessment reports to Zurich business stakeholders.
- Track and close outstanding assessments, decisions, and remediation actions.
- Maintain high data quality in Synergi.
- Escalate challenges to ZGTPRM and work jointly on solutions.
Stakeholder Communication & Support
- Join calls/video meetings and respond to emails from Zurich stakeholders regarding assessments and outcomes (without providing risk advice).
- Provide periodic reports to ZGTPRM on volumes, turnaround times, and SLAs.
Synergi System Operations & Governance
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks via Synergi.
- Direct Synergi users to appropriate teams (IT ADM for technical issues; ZGVM/ADM for change requests).
- Attend monthly Synergi governance forums to stay aligned with system updates, functionality changes, and user discussions.
- Keep SOPs and training materials up to date in collaboration with ZGVM.
Continuous Improvement & Development
- Proactively suggest improvements to processes, the Synergi system, and training materials.
- Participate in training sessions to maintain strong system and process knowledge.
- Support audits and join ZGTPRM strategy/team meetings where required.
Candidate’s profile:
- Confident presenting skills – articulate (may present risk findings or reports verbally over video calls)
- Self-manage (booking sessions, manage own time, proactively provide reports & updates, proactively volunteering ideas for improvement)
- Comfortable in working with all levels of grade and authority
- Competent in excel, word, power point, share point
Additional skills:
- Previous experience in third party management or similar role (audit, risk, compliance, frameworks)
- Language skills other than English – Spanish, Portuguese or German appear to be most in demand
- An interest in developing experience in the wider topic of third-party risk management and/or IT configuration and change

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.
This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
