People Development Senior Specialist

About the role:
In this role you will be a member of the People Development Services (PDS) Team, which supports the global business functions in the areas of recruitment, learning and development, talent management, and total rewards. In your role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting various aspects of our job catalog, performance management and compensation programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of job profiles (e.g. quality checks, uploads). and employee mapping to job profiles and job levels
- Coordinating with Job Families globally to ensure information in the Job Catalog is updated and consistently maintained
- Ensure high data quality for Job Catalog information by maintaining accurate data in the respective system, including regular checks and coordination with internal stakeholders
- Own the process of submitting requests to update the Job Catalog
- Support global grading process (e.g. job evaluation, uploads)
- Maintain and update relevant documentation (employee and line manager handbooks, admin guides, FAQs)
- Manage and update relevant SharePoint sites
- Support compensation data consolidation and reporting from countries and regions (e.g. FINMA data gathering, salary increase budget report, etc.).
- Support ad-hoc global reporting and data analysis (e.g. employee mapping, compensation rates, distribution curves, benchmarking, salary ranges, quality checks)
- Support testing and pre go-live checks for Total Rewards applications, ensuring proper governance and compliance
- Provide feedback on system/process improvements during the system enhancements process
- Consolidate and prepare data files for mass uploads in the system
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of GJM-related dashboard and reports, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Review and control users’ access rights to TR applications
- Various administration support to the TR function; support with overviews on budget, spent and maintenance of vendor contracts
Candidate’s profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, HR or similar
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- 1-3 years of experience in Total Rewards related areas, ideally working knowledge of job architecture and job evaluation methos
- Knowledge of HR systems (ideally SAP and/or SuccessFactors) and Microsoft applications, in particular Excel
- Analytical, data management, problem solving, detail oriented
- Effective communication and positive attitude
- High degree of tact, diplomacy and professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.
This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
