Agency Development Head, Kuching

Purpose 

Manages a portfolio and develop strong business relationships with distribution partners in a country or country area and develop the portfolio to achieve defined growth targets, agreed business goals and distributor satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

-Drives business development with distributors by identifying opportunities or issues and taking the necessary actions, in collaboration with the Broker Relationship Leader when required.

-Creation of offers, i.e. quoting and setting coverages for submissions from brokers, and provide support for technical and IT questions when needed.

-Maintains close relationships with distributor stakeholders including effective communication of Zurich messages.

-Communicates distributor needs and issues to Zurich colleagues, e.g. In underwriting and claims, to enable execution of agreed plans.

-Supports and/or executes specific initiatives such as sales campaigns, feedback to improve service delivery etc.

-Monitors performance of assigned distributors against our expectations, identifies performance gaps, defines actions or make recommendations to Zurich leadership (e.g. termination of agreements).
