Business Analyst Insurance Solutions Senior Executive


Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst leads and/or completes the elicitation of business requirements and their translation into solution requirements to ensure their implementation throughout the project life cycle. This role will generally involve the co-ordination of work of other Business Analysts to deliver the required deliverable or will be a more technical role delivering multiple requirements as part of a moderate to large/high risk independent project.

Key Accountabilities

  • The Senior Business Analyst describes as-is/to-be models as part of the requirements elicitation process.
  • They are able to adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies.
  • They plan, conduct facilitate elicitation sessions and ensure production of associated deliverables.
  • They understand customers' objectives, processes and products in order to make recommendations.
  • The Senior Business Analyst supports project managers in building the business case, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high-level plan.
  • They produce requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation.
  • They plan and follow-up on business analyst activities for the project/program., and analyze and manage requirement risk, trace ability matrix and prioritize requirements.
  • They support development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities, and perform quality review checks on solution.
  • They support post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits.
