Business Analyst

Purpose

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of business requirements in assigned projects and driving operational excellence across the organization.

Job Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

• Assess as-is and design to-be processes and business requirements for assigned projects such as partnerships, process improvements or product development.
• Review processes, identify & implement opportunities for process improvement.
• Assess impact of the proposed solution on existing operations.
• Design operating models based on requirements obtained, highlighting risks and constraints, and provide solution recommendations.
• Prepare / review project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including requirement documents, solution documents, test plans, test results, and operational arrangements.
• Balancing the competing constraints of business need, services, technology, and quality to produce the specified product, service or result with minimal change requests required.
• Adapts and applies different delivery methodologies including SCRUM, Waterfall, and Lean / Six Sigma.

Education and Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• 5 or more years of experience in related field

Preferred:

• Background in Financial Services or Insurance
• Experience in business requirements development and project lifecycle
• Experience in process design
• Good understanding of intelligent automation technologies and capabilities
• Basic understanding in data analytics
• Yellow Belt / Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification
