Business Performance Analysis Specialist


Job Summary

Under limited supervision, use expertise in accounting and business partnering to support regular performance management processes for the business unit by supplementing business partnering activity to provide sound financial analysis and enhanced business insight.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

  • Act as a main point of contact point for Business Partnering teams, use expertise in accounting and business partnering and breadth of understanding of the business to coordinate and ensure delivery of deep business insight on business performance.
  • Act as a main point of contact for Group performance management teams by ensuring all performance queries are answered in a timely manner.
  • Oversee assignment and re-distribution of operational workload to team; ensuring allocated staff are fully utilized in order to deliver against agreed programme of work.
  • Provide sound, independent financial analysis to delver business insights to the Business Partnering team.
  • Suggest improvements to senior colleagues in order to assist the business unit that it supports.
  • Provide independent numerical analysis and support for country Chief Financial Officer and Local Planning & Performance Reporting Manager for monthly performance calls.
  • Contribute to segment level commentaries for monthly performance packs and relevant segment level reporting.
  • Contribute to the delivery of all internal and external reporting requirements for specific segment in adherence to group timetable requirements.
  • Co-ordinate the annual planning cycle on behalf of the Senior Planning & Performance Reporting Manager including local country Chief Financial Officer and senior business stakeholders as required.
  • Assist in resolution of all segment queries for specific items within the profit and loss account.

Business Accountabilities

Provide support to local executive and management teams through coordinating the population of standard templates, eg Business Unit review documentation. Assist in the delivery of specific projects that improve the overall efficiency of the reporting process. Stay abreast of basic external trends to provide a more commercial slant to regular commentary requirements that accompany regular reporting submissions.
