Job Summary

Collaborates with compliance, security and general IT risks to ensure that IT supports the business objectives of the business unit. They implement information security policies, standards, and programs consistent with local, regional, and global strategy.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

 

  • Supports partnership with local stakeholders to align IT security strategies.
  • Provide consultancy on projects and services to support mitigation of risks, and control implementation leading to effective risk management.
  • Guide on relevant group policies and standards and support security awareness campaigns raising engagement with end users in alignment with local requirements.
  • Carry out control assurance for IT service providers ensuring control implementation.
  • Participates in supplier assurance management and identifies gaps in services provided leading to identification of areas for improvement.
  • Provide support for security response processes and apply technical expertise on aspects of the organization's IT security to internal customers.
  • Involved in investigations and inspections of IT data, processes, practices and incidents in accordance with established procedures to identify potential or actual compliance issues and recommend appropriate action.

 

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.

 

Preferred:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying potential data security risks and developing effective preventive measures.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Given the sensitive nature of data protection, meticulous attention to detail is critical
