Senior Manual Tester

Location: Kuala Lumpur

The Opportunity:

You will have a chance to be part of the new Zurich APAC project that is building an end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform to enable new distribution models. Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for straight through processing across the full insurance value chain. As the Senior Manual Tester, your responsibility is to understand business requirements in depth and to design good coverage of test cases for test execution followed by defect logging and test reporting.

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Analyze and acquire good understanding on business requirements before test design
•    Engage with Business Analysts to understand business requirements
•    Design test cases with comprehensive coverage of scenarios using the risk-based testing approach
•    Perform test execution on planned test cases
•    Ensure that defects are analyzed and communicated with Business Analysts and Development team for resolution 
•    Ensure that logged defects are followed up 
•    Generate test report for test execution

Required Skills and Experience:
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience as a manual Software Tester 
•    Experience in Software testing in test design, test execution and test reporting using industry best practices 
•    Working experience in insurance domain is a must
•    Having obtained ISQTB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification is preferred
•    Agile delivery experience & JIRA is preferred
•    Basic database querying experience is preferred
