Strategic Delivery Consultant (12 - 18 months Contract)
Job Summary:
The Strategic Delivery Consultant will lead key projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget, within scope, and supporting strategic management and communication. They will oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring feasibility.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Lead and manage the tender process from initiation to completion, including preparations, analysis/evaluation, communication and facilitation of selection and award.
- Take an active role in strategic management including executing the communication plans across relevant audiences.
- Prepare and deliver management reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate project and strategic initiative progress and prioritization.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of work experience, including a minimum of 5 years in proven project management including implementations in both Waterfall and Agile environments or strategy management
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project management including Agile certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

- Demonstrated ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, or change management proficiency.
- Experience in tender management.
- Experience in management consulting roles or insurance industry.
