Zurich Multinational Senior Specialist

Purpose:

 

This role is to provide service and underwriting guidance and support on large and complex local policy requests, issuing policies and invoices to local brokers and customers on behalf of Zurich Producing Offices. They act as subject matter experts in their lines of business, processes and systems. and systems.

They will also ensure the correct interpretation C application of country underwriting practices and procedures and assist the Collection Team on premium collection of the servicing accounts.

This role is accountable and responsible to meet the Global KPI targets set under IPZ Heatmap and all local KPIs.

 

Job Accountabilities – Key Accountabilities

 

  • They foster relationships with local brokers and large customers and take ownership for the delivery of the highest standard of local service.
  • Ensure that brokers and customers are kept informed when referral or confirmation is needed from the Producing Office and follow up with producing colleagues to resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • They coordinate with local Underwriter, Legal and Claims and communicate with Producing Office on highly complex local policies, implementing manuscript wording
  • or endorsements where requested and permitted and to ensure adherence to the local legislation.
  • Independently issue local policies within agreed KPIs, including complex and
  • bespoke requests from the Producing office within local guidelines and legislation.
  • Work with local brokers and customers to try and secure payment of outstanding invoices. Proactively highlight cases of non-payment to producing offices for support and work together until settled.
  • Communicate queries and challenges to other parties, and offer solutions to resolve a range of issues encountered with an International program.
  • Able to explain changes in local guidelines or legislation to the Producing Offices and articulate the impact to the process.
  • Able to follow manuals and best practice, and understand where and how to deviate in non standard cases.

 

Job qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience of related portfolio or other insurance area, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience of related portfolio or other insurance area

 

Preferred:

  • English proficiency both verbal and written. Fluency in language other than Bahasa Malaysia and English adds value to the role.
  • Solution oriented mindset i.e., problem solving.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical and communicative skills.
  • Excellent attention to details i.e., figures sensitive, analytical, and meticulous person.
  • Good and positive attitude and strong team spirit
