What will you be doing?  

 

 As IT Delivery Manager for CLP platforms, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of technology specialists, supporting their growth and driving performance.
  • Plan and deliver new capabilities, while continuously enhancing and maintaining our CLP solutions.
  • Apply your expertise in React, .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs to guide robust, scalable development.
  • Work in an agile environment, taking a hands-on approach to improve CLP platforms for our expanding business needs.
  • Engage with Zurich stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing technical leadership for platform design and development.
  • Oversee IT project delivery and ensure all requirements are met, including disaster recovery planning and service restoration.
  • Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and addressing any gaps.
  • Champion compliance with IT governance, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage suppliers involved in the development and maintenance of CLP platforms.
  • Develop technology roadmaps to maintain and upgrade hardware/software and reduce operational risks.
  • Continuously improve agile practices within your team and across the wider Zurich community.
  • Support audits and ensure operational readiness for projects and releases.

 

What are we looking for?  

 

You’re an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Ideally you will have significant experience in Application Design and Development.
  • Hands-on experience managing programs/projects and providing ongoing operational support.
  • Practical delivery experience with .NET technology and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in React, .NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs.
  • Knowledge of Databricks, model serving, Mulesoft, and integrated platform delivery.
  • People management and vendor management experience.
  • Experience collaborating across countries and cultures, ideally within Zurich or the wider insurance/finance sector.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
