Your Opportunity 

Ready to make a real impact from day one? As an apprentice in our Commercial Insurance business, you’ll join a fantastic team and take on real responsibility as you develop expertise in one of our specialist areas: 

• Property 

• Marine 

• Construction 

• Environmental Impairment Liability (EIL)

Alongside your day-to-day work activities, you’ll complete an Insurance Professional Level 4 Apprenticeship as well as an insurance industry recognised Diploma in Insurance via the Chartered Insurance Institute. The apprenticeship will take around 24 months.  

We give you time to study as well as the opportunity to put what you learn into practice. Your qualification is just the start of your career at Zurich. Once your apprenticeship is complete you will have plenty of opportunities to put your new skills into practice while continuing to develop and grow.

What you’ll need: 

• Full right to work and reside in the UK – Due to apprenticeship funding regulations, we cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 consecutive years. 

• Minimum of three A Levels at A*- C (or equivalent) 

• A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English.  

• Commitment and dedication to completing your apprenticeship qualification 

• Enthusiasm for learning and achieving professional certifications 

• Independent, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 

• Strong attention to detail 

• A collaborative team player who communicates well with others 

• Effective personal planning and organisational skills 

• A future-focused mindset, ready to embrace change and new ideas
