Senior Pricing Actuary (m/f/d)

As part of a small, agile team you will collaborate across multiple markets to develop tailored life protection solutions for our customers. Together, we are shaping the future to secure brighter outcomes for those we serve, wherever they are in the world.

 


Main Responsibilities 

 

  • Responsible for pricing of our new retail European cross-border business, with an initial focus on pricing to support new products, and in future to ensure the ongoing optimisation of pricing for open products
  • Actively participate in new product development, pricing relevant covers, in a range of European markets and with different distribution partners, to ensure profitable, customer-centric propositions are delivered
  • Cover the full range of pricing activity, from pricing assumption setting through to rate generation and profit testing, and finally relevant regulatory and Zurich approvals
  • Work closely with distribution, product, underwriting, claims, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with broader business objectives
  • Engage in stakeholder management, maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners across the organisation


Skills and Experience

 

  • Fully qualified actuary
  • Two roles available, open to a range of experience levels, with at least one requiring over 10 years of retail protection product pricing experience
  • Experience in a range of retail markets, ideally in an international environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service focus
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and effective measurement abilities
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work accurately to deadlines
  • Constructive approach to working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Working language is English – additional European languages a plus
