Business Development Executive (Bahraini Nationals only)

Reporting to Sales Manager, as Business Development Executive you are expected sell insurance products to customers and small businesses on the phone and over email, identifying customer needs and taking action accordingly to contribute to the development of business and enhancement of the organization's products, services, and processes.
Job Accountabilities
As Business Development Executive, your role will involve:
- Sells the organization's propositions to new and existing clients.
- Acts as the customer's point of entry into the Zurich organization and takes responsibility for customer experience with Zurich, resolving and -or escalating their issues and keeping oversight of service delivery to the customer to ensure service expectations are fulfilled at all stages of the process (e.g. claims, invoicing).
- Shows good understanding of the customer needs and applies advanced customer interaction skills.
- Identifies customer needs and advises on propositions suggests additional offerings to existing clients (cross-selling).
- Make sure that quotations are issued (eventually with the help of a customer service team) promptly and in an accurate manner, maintains data integrity within relevant systems.
- Shows expected sales behavior while fully adhering to local organization standards and processes.
- Supports specific marketing campaigns provides input and actively contributes to the enhancement of the organization's products, services and processes.
- Works closely with other organizational units, provides training and participates in projects as appropriate.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent), and prior experience in a related field.
- Understanding of Insurance, corporate savings and pensions / end of service benefits being strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working within an international and diverse cultural organization would be beneficial.
Skills Required:
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Accuracy and Attention to details.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office packages– Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal in English.
- Digital Literacy
