The opportunity

Are you ready to shape the future of a business that values caring, collaboration, and growth? At Zurich, we’re building a brighter future together—and we’re looking for talented people who want to make a real difference.

As a Performance & Insight Data Analyst, you’ll join a values-driven workplace where you’ll work alongside supportive teammates and inspiring leaders who genuinely care about your growth and well-being. If you have experience working with data and are seeking a new challenge, this is your chance to thrive in a role that matters.

At Zurich, your voice truly matters—we believe in empowering our people, and your insights will help steer the direction of our Retail Business.

Many of our employees work flexibly in a variety of different ways, including part-time, flexible hours, job share, an element of working from home or compressed hours. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you may need.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive performance: You’ll play a key role in analysing and tracking the performance of our Retail Business, working with Financial, Distribution, and Operational Data.
  • Create insights: Extract and transform data using Excel and Power BI to deliver meaningful, actionable reports for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Spot opportunities: Use your analytical mindset to identify trends and patterns that can help us improve both our performance and the experience we deliver to our customers.
  • Collaborate and support: Work closely with a variety of stakeholders across Mid-Market, SME eTrade, Zurich Private Clients, Schemes, and Personal Lines MGA businesses—all in a supportive, collaborative environment.
  • Champion data quality: Ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and help build robust datasets that underpin our future success.

What we’re looking for:

  • Analytical expertise: Strong knowledge of Excel and Power BI, with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for logical thinking and organisation.
  • Curiosity and drive: You’re inquisitive, proactive, and always looking for ways to make things better.
  • Great communicator: You can explain complex ideas clearly—both in writing and in person.
  • Team spirit: You’re ready to support others and grow together.
