At Zurich Cover-More, we’re proud to be one of the world’s leading travel insurance and assistance providers. Zurich Cover-More partners with many of the world’s best-known brands – think major airlines, travel giants, top banks, credit card providers, and large retailers – to deliver more care, more cover, for all.

Launched in December 2024, Zurich Cover-More is the global travel brand of Zurich Insurance Group, one of the world’s leading multi-line insurers. Our family of customer-facing brands includes trusted names like Travel Guard, Cover-More Travel Insurance, Travelex Insurance, Universal Assistance, World Travel Protection, Freely, and Blue Insurance. Together, we’re redefining what it means to travel safely and with confidence. Whether it’s a long-awaited holiday, a last-minute business trip, or an unexpected detour, we deliver in the moments that matter.

About the opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager who treats APIs and data as products, with real consumers, roadmaps, service levels and adoption targets. You'll own two of Sirius's Phase 1 priorities: our enterprise API library and data and reporting optimization, plus the canonical data model that connects our brands, regions and partners. This is a product role that owns priorities and outcomes, not a hands-on developer or data engineering position.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for the API library across quote, buy, policy servicing, claims and assistance
  • Know your API consumers — internal channels, Freely, airlines, travel agents, banks and affinity partners — and build for them
  • Set API standards with Enterprise Architecture: design conventions, security, versioning and deprecation
  • Launch a developer portal and self-service partner onboarding, and cut the time it takes a partner to go live
  • Act as product owner for API delivery on MuleSoft, and help shape our move toward a group-wide integration platform
  • Own the canonical data model for customer, policy, product, quote, claim, partner and payment
  • Establish master data, data quality, lineage and stewardship with business domain owners
  • Rationalize reporting so the business has one trusted source for core metrics
  • Build privacy, consent and data residency into every API and data product
  • Lead the API & Data pods with our SI partner: epics, acceptance criteria, sprint reviews and sign-off

What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:

  • 8+ years in product management, integration, data management or enterprise technology, including 4+ years owning APIs, integration platforms or data products
  • A track record shipping an API program with external partner consumers
  • Experience defining or governing an enterprise or canonical data model
  • Fluency in REST, OpenAPI, event-driven integration, OAuth 2.0 and API gateways; MuleSoft Anypoint or similar
  • Strong grounding in data quality, master data, lineage and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience in large transformation programs with multiple partners and regions
  • The ability to turn competing asks from many stakeholders into one clear, defensible priority list

Nice to have

  • Insurance, financial services, or travel and assistance experience
  • Familiarity with ACORD or other insurance data standards
  •  Experience consolidating integration estates onto a shared platform
  • Exposure to AWS data services, Snowflake or Databricks
  • MuleSoft, SAFe or Scrum Product Owner (CSPO or PSPO) certification
