What’s the job?
We’re seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead the transformation of our North American sales organization. As Zurich Cover-More North America evolves into a unified business unit, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our sales function across the United States and Canada. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for driving top-line growth, optimizing sales performance, and building a scalable, fit-for-purpose sales structure that reflects the best of our brands.
- You’ll lead a national sales team, including Regional Directors and Account Managers, with oversight of performance, strategy, and execution
- You’ll design and implement the North America sales plan, integrating teams and processes post-acquisition
- You’ll establish sales infrastructure, reporting frameworks, and pipeline management tools to support growth
- You’ll serve as the executive contact for major accounts, industry consortia, and travel trade associations
- You’ll collaborate across functions to align sales strategy with broader business objectives
- You’ll travel regularly across the US to stay close to the team and market
- You’ll unify sales efforts across multiple brands, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution
What are we looking for?
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within the travel industry (travel insurance experience is a plus, but not required)
- Demonstrated success in building or restructuring sales organizations, with experience in M&A integration highly valued
- Strong organizational and strategic planning capabilities, with a focus on scalable growth
- Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and foster a high-performance culture
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with executive presence
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and pipeline management platforms
- Willingness to travel frequently across the US (50%)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
- Underwriting background and relevant licenses preferred

The salary range for this role is $215,000.00- $275,000.00. This is the range Zurich Cover-More in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
