As an Actuarial Pricing Analyst in our General Insurance business, you will help shape pricing decisions that support profitable growth and better outcomes for our customers, brokers and partners. This role sits close to portfolio, underwriting and actuarial teams, using data, technical insight and commercial judgement to guide decisions across Zurich’s products.
You will also play an Important role in strengthening portfolio performance, improving pricing models and supporting a culture of continuous improvement as Zurich continues to evolve as a leading digital insurer.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Provide pricing and underwriting advice that supports portfolio growth and profitability objectives
- Assist with pricing recommendations, rating methodology, segment relativities and return on equity analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning through models, data and portfolio insights
- Monitor claims experience, performance indicators and value drivers to identify trends and opportunities
- Help identify profitable and underperforming segments and share insights with underwriting and distribution teams
- Improve model pricing, data quality and reporting practices in line with Zurich standards and policies

You will bring curiosity, care and a strong analytical mindset to the role. You will enjoy working with others, building trusted relationships and turning complex information into clear insights that help teams make confident decisions.
To be successful, you will have the following:
- A degree in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical capability using statistical, actuarial or data driven techniques.
- Proficiency in Excel and programming tools such as Python, R or SAS.
- Sound attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and data integrity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Commercial awareness of the general insurance industry, with a customer focused and growth minded approach.
