Senior Auditor

About the Role


In your role, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of audit engagements in interaction with teams across Europe, Asia Pacific, North America and Latin America. You will be responsible for providing insights to stakeholders, leading the audit teams to bring audit outcomes of excellent quality. You will identify trends and themes patterns in results, develop audit reports and influence key stakeholders in broader actions. As part of the Group Audit team, you will develop your technical skills and capabilities within the wider audit function, through ongoing upskilling and contribute to a strong culture of collaboration and sense of community.


Your main responsibilities will involve:


  • Developing own knowledge and business awareness and building strong business relationships
  • Auditor in charge of a portfolio of local audit engagements end-to-end, including global audits across different regions 
  • Building learning and apply professional judgement In planning activities, determining the right audit scope, key risks to be addressed and most suitable audit techniques and approaches.
  • Creating a collaborative and supporting team spirit while overseeing the quality of outcomes
  • Guiding, coaching and reviewing the work of the team throughout the audit engagement
  • Influencing stakeholders through your audit conclusions
  • Contributing to the Group Audit global team through sharing own technical knowledge. 

Important to your success:


  • 3+ years of experience in audit or other assurance functions such as Risk Management or Compliance or line 1 business technical experience
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry, Insurance is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Internal Audit Standards, internal control framework and audit testing
  • Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself and others around you 
  • Customer focused, collaborative, flexible, persistent, and results-oriented mindset
  • Good project management skills. Ability to organize own tasks, deliver on time and with high quality standards.
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
