Join our Service 365 team as a Broker Development Associate, where you’ll be the first point of contact for our Authorised Representative (AR) network—responding to day‑to‑day enquiries, coordinating swift resolutions with internal teams, and building strong, commercial relationships that grow the Zurich brand.
This role sits at the heart of our technology transformation. You’ll champion our digital tools and play a practical part in our journey toward our digital north star—becoming Australia’s Leading Digital Insurer—by making it easier for brokers to do business with Zurich, faster.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Serving as the primary contact for AR enquiries via phone and desktop, acting as a trusted source of knowledge on Zurich products and propositions.
- Orchestrating outcomes with underwriting, claims, ZRS and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery and issue resolution.
- Building and nurturing AR relationships through planned, routine engagement to foster growth and strengthen Zurich’s brand in market.
- Monitoring AR performance, sharing insights internally, and proactively managing complaints to drive continuous improvement.
- Promoting and educating partners on Zurich’s online broker tools and self‑service resources; assisting with pre‑ and post‑activity as needed.
- Contributing thought leadership for our remote AR community and collaborating closely with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate their strategies.

You are a customer‑obsessed relationship builder with exceptional communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment. Curious and change‑positive, you embrace new ways of working and digital tools to deliver better broker and customer outcomes.
In order to be successful, you will have the following:
- Experience in insurance or account management (preferred), strong general business acumen, and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with proven influencing and negotiation capability.
- Confidence using digital productivity suites (e.g., Office 365) and broker portals; comfort advocating for digital self‑service and simpler processes.
- Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills to manage a steady pipeline of enquiries and follow‑ups.
- Stakeholder management strength across underwriting, claims, and distribution; aptitude for coordinating swift, customer‑first resolutions.
