As a Claims Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers at a pivotal moment in their lives. Managing a portfolio of Life Risk disability claims, you’ll balance technical decision making with empathy, care, and clarity to deliver fair and timely outcomes.
Working closely with senior claims leaders and specialist partners, you’ll help shape a high quality claims experience while contributing to continuous improvement as we modernise our systems, processes, and ways of working.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Managing a portfolio of Life Risk disability claims in line with policy terms and service standards
- Delivering clear, timely, and compassionate communication to customers and stakeholders
- Maintaining strong oversight of claim workflows to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes
- Supporting quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, regulatory, and legal requirements
- Building collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners

In order to be successful, you will have the following:
- Experience managing Life Insurance or Life Risk disability claims
- Strong understanding of claims assessment, investigation, and coverage evaluation
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working within regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Confidence engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- Relevant qualifications such as HSC or equivalent, with Allied Health or Legal studies well regarded
