We have a stellar opportunity to join our Actuarial Group Pricing Team as a Group Risk Pricing Manager.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee and drive the pricing strategy for one of the largest portfolios in group insurance. You will also lead, mentor, and develop two direct reports, fostering capability, continuous growth, and a high‑performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the portfolio pricing strategy, delivering sustainable, innovative pricing solutions that support new business growth and strengthen client partnerships
- Provide technical leadership by coaching and training junior team members, uplifting actuarial capability within the team
- Maintain, enhance, and govern pricing models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business objectives
- Respond to internal and external pricing queries, ensuring high‑quality, timely execution of pricing activities
- Prepare CPS320 reports, ensuring all pricing operations meet governance and compliance standards
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders including Product, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Reinsurance to support holistic portfolio outcomes.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Fully qualified actuary with membership in a recognised actuarial body.
A minimum of 5+ years’ post‑qualification experience in pricing (group insurance experience advantageous) - Strong proficiency in interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and solving problems related to risk assessment and pricing
- Expertise with statistical and actuarial software (e.g., Excel, R, Python) and familiarity with data analysis tools and modelling techniques
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to positive outcomes within a diverse team environment.
Experience working across multiple functional areas and/or Business Units.
