About the role


As an IT Risk & Controls Analyst, you will provide an independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. This activity is performed in accordance with Zurich’s Internal Controls Integrated Framework (ICIF) and its implementation applies to internal controls within Zurich Financial Services Australia (ZFSA).


Working across IT, you will support in the identification, analysis, monitoring, and testing of IT application controls, automated business controls and IT general controls.


You will also support the business in the interpretation and application of relevant policies, provide guidance in their documentation and self-assessment, and assist in the provisioning of training.


Important to your success


  • You will have a strong risk and controls background with tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, technology, or a related discipline.
  • IT risk & controls experience is essential for this role.
  • Insurance and/or Financial Services experience will be held in high regard, Big 4 experience will be a distinct advantage.
  • Professional qualifications in accountancy, finance audit, technology, such as e.g.: CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISP, CISM etc.), would be a distinct advantage.
