The Product Governance Specialist plays a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of Zurich’s product offerings, with a strong focus on compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly around Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO). This position is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving Zurich’s product governance frameworks to ensure they meet both external regulations and internal standards.

A key aspect of the role involves proactively identifying and analysing how evolving regulatory requirements impact Zurich’s broad range of general insurance products. The Product Manager oversees compliance processes, such as Target Market Determination (TMD) assessments, and ensures records are kept accurately to support these activities.

The Product Manager is also tasked with creating, maintaining, and regularly reviewing governance-related policy and process documentation to ensure clarity and effectiveness.

In addition, the role includes preparing and leading regular meetings to monitor product outcomes, providing actionable recommendations, and supporting product initiatives with a strong governance perspective. Collaboration is essential, as the Product Manager works closely with colleagues across Zurich and with external partners to promote robust governance practices throughout the organisation.
