A great opportunity has arisen to join Zurich’s General Insurance Product Underwriting team as a Product Manager.

You will manage the delivery of General Insurance Products as well as support Zurich’s business strategies for existing and new products in Zurich’s chosen market segments. This is a diverse, technical role with high stakeholder engagement and will suit someone who can project manage in an agile environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating end-to-end product delivery, including scoping, drafting and release across general insurance lines of business
• Drafting new and existing product and related documentation
• Working closely across business units to enhance products and execute on product strategy
• Adhering to Zurich’s processes and ensuring compliance and regulatory guidelines are being met in the delivery of general insurance products  
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis

• Strong experience in product development, ideally in general insurance
• General Insurance industry related qualifications.  Applicants with demonstrated experience who do not have relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply but may be required to undertake further education to attain compliance. 
• Knowledge of general insurance principles and understanding of the technical aspects of underwriting, claims, risk management, pricing mechanisms and claims management practices.
• Experience and background in drafting product and related documentation  
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
